About Vigilantes

Vigilantes was founded in February 2005, it is one of the oldest guilds on Doomhammer and still going strong.
During Vanilla, TBC , WotLK, Cata, Pandaria, and the early part of Warlords, we were very much a semi hardcore raiding guild with a focus on clearing hard mode content. In Legion we have scaled back those ambitions and moved to a two day raiding schedule although the desire to see as much end game content remains.

What can you expect from us?
A team of raiders looking to enjoy the challenges of Heroic raid bosses in a friendly and sociable environment. Our aim is clear heroic content prior to any nerfs being introduced. Upon completion, and if numbers permit, we will look to try our luck at mythic content.

When do we raid?
Sunday and Wednesday: 20:00 - 23:00
During all our raids we take at least one 10 minute break to keep the team sharp and fresh.

What do we expect from you:
Although we raid only twice a week now, we still make an effort to get the most out of those evenings. We are therefore looking for people who are motivated, prepared, and striving for progress. Because we are looking to experience as much content as possible it goes without saying that we are searching for mature and skilled players that are able to analyse their own performance (not only your DPS!) and that can handle criticism when it is due. Communication is critical in raiding so you need to be able to read, write and understand English to a reasonable level so when we ask you something we know you understood us and can carry out those instructions.

Other things that we expect of you:

* Able to attend raids regularly.
* Access to Discord. Tanks are required to have a microphone and be willing to use it.
* Be Prepared. Familiarise yourself with boss mechanics and strategies. Flasks/pots if the Raid Leader requests it.
* Do the damage/healing you should, and look for ways to do it better.
* Have a good PC. Constantly disconnecting, lagging, or crashing is no fun for either you or us.
* Be a team player.
